Visiting Ecuador in South African Mining Sector
Uncionarios Ecuadorians are visiting South Africa to meet this country’s experience in the mining, zooming in order to enable future investments and establish cooperation between public sector entities.
The Ecuadorian delegation, who began his visit on Monday, June 20, is chaired by the Deputy Minister of Mines of Ecuador, Federico Aquila, who attended a conference in Johannesburg, attended by 22 of the largest mining corporations that maintain international operations , reported the Foreign Ministry.
Ecuadorian vice Minister explained the constitutional and legal framework governing mining in the country, under the guidelines of the National Plan for Good Living, and put in consideration of the business policy of the National Government to seek South African partners to develop a mining ethical, responsible, technically sound and environmentally friendly.
Within the agenda prepared by the Embassy and the Commercial Office of Ecuador in South Africa, the Ecuadorian delegation will hold meetings with the South African Council of Capital and Equipment Export, as well as bilateral meetings with South African companies interested in doing business and investing in country.
In addition, the Deputy Minister will participate in a meeting with his South African couple, Godfrey Oliphant, in order to establish cooperation between the Ministry of Non-Renewable Natural Resources in Ecuador and the Ministry of Mineral Resources of South Africa.
